CL DAV SHUTTLERS TO REPRESENT INDIA IN ASIA JUNIOR BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP
Anupama Upadhyaya and Ridhi Kaur Toor have made the school proud by excelling in various Badminton Competitions with their splendid prowess. Anupama has been selected to represent India in Badminton Asia U-17 & U-15 Junior Championship 2018 to be held in Myanmar. She has many achievements to her credit. Anupama cast her spell by wining second position in All India Sub-Junior Raking held at Nagpur Last month. After winning Gold medals at district level competition, Anupama became first CL DAVian to be recipient of Khelo India Scholarship of Rs. 5 Lakh per annum granted by SAI under Ministry of the Youth affairs and sports. Ridhi Kaur Toor of IX class is not far behind. She won 2nd position (doubles) in All India Sub-Junior Ranking held at Hyderabad. She has also bagged a gold medal in U-15 singles in the district badminton championship. She will represent Panchkula in the state badminton championship for U17/19 at Sonipat and U15 at Gurugram.
