23rd NATIONAL CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS
CLDAV team comprising Parth,Sanket,Lakshita,Anisha,Akansha won 1st prize in 23rd National Children Science Congress at District Level under the able guidance of their science teacher Ms.Renu Aggarwal.The event was held on 23rd Oct,2015 at CLDAV,Sec-11,panchkula.About 40 teams from panchkula district articipated in this prestige event and their topic was Climate Smart Agriculture
INTERSCHOOL ENGLISH DECLAMATION
SAPNA MALIK of class XII won the first prize in inter-school English declamation held at D.C.Model school organized by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization and would now participate at the state level competition.Sapna was applauded by the jury members for her unique script, oratory skills and fluency of expression.

An Interschool poetry and creative writing competition was held at the school. More than 22 schools of tricity participated in it. Manav Mangal High School bagged the first prize.

PARTH and AYUSHI of class X stood third in the Inter school 'presentation of a motivational video' competition held at D.C. Model School organized by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. MADHAV ARORA of class IIIrd was one of the 30 students shortlisted out of 1700 students from the schools of tricity in the INDIAN IDOL JUNIOR 2015,the most popular show on SonyTelevision, to find the best singing voices across the country.Madhav arora an ardent fan of HONEY SINGH received huge appreciation from the judges Vishal and Salim Suleman for singing songs of various genres in his unique style.
MOHD.RAFI NIGHTS
Special evening was organised to pay a tribute to one of the greatest Indian playback singers of the Hindi film industry Mohd.Rafi.Number of performers performed live and MADHAV ARORA,VAIBHAV SIROHI,ANKUSH of our school selected for the second round of MOHD.RAFI NIGHTS held at Tagore Theatre.They were among the best singers across the tricity.
SIXTH DISTRICT CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP
CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP was held at St.Teresa School,Panchkula in the age group of 7,9,11,13,15,17.The school won over all second position in the ream event.The students of our school won many medals in the individual as well as team category,silver medals were won by the team and two bronze medal.The students were very elated after winning the medals in the championship.
